Pre-Fall from Carven
They had me at their bow-adorned heels a few seasons back and ever since Carven relaunched I've been a huge, huge fan. Their updated take on French schoolgirl classics is pure perfection--and if you were with me in Paris this past Fall you know is something that I try hopelessly to emulate at any chance I get. The draping isn't overdone, but delicately shapes the body. The collars aren't exaggerated but sweetly feminine. All the hemlines are still short to stay girly but the sleeves stay long so they're still appropriate--and I still like them. It's French dressing at it's best...and bound for a day at le jardin du luxembourg.
