The Work Uniform

We all try and find a silhouette, a cut or a label that works best with our bodies and our routines. It's a struggle and I think if anyone got it just right we'd throw our hands up in defeat. This editor was talking about how after she had kids all she wanted was a "uniform" that was simple, something she could rely on day-in and day-out. I long for that same kind of simplicity. I think hers works because it's got a bit of an actual uniform vibe to it, but it's also fashion-forward with architectural layers, the quintessential black opaque tights and tweed that's seasonally appropriate for Fall and Winter. A few light switches and this could be a go-to look at least a few days a week.
