The 5-piece Closet

I came across this photo and thought, what if I could get my closet down to 5 pieces that actually deliver? A chambray shirt, obviously. A black leather jacket--the fits and styles may change but it'll remain a constant year after year. Two blouses, one long sleeve, one cap sleeve, one graphic print one classically crisp white. Both perfect with heels and jeans for a night out or pencil skirt for meetings if that's your thing. Lastly a dress that'll take you places. Could you make it work with just these pieces? I'm starting to think life would be SO much easier!
