Gone Retro: Polka Dots

There seem to be a number of designers who are taking a retro approach to fashion, and Tory Burch is one of them. This mustard yellow polka dot top is darling, with puffy short sleeves, a cinched waist and a pattern that is retro in detail and yet somehow never goes out of style. I love modernizing the blouse with deep dark denim, sleek white pants for Summer or even a contrasting pattern for effect. The look ends up being completely modern.
